After taking the 2009 season off, Travis is looking to get back in the the swing of things for the 2010 season. After a slow economy forced the company Travis works for to start laying-off in January, he thought it might be a smart idea to sit the season out. Fortunately his job was spared and looking back wishes he could have ran this summer. Travis took many things into consideration before he made his decision to take the first summer off of racing in twelve years since he started racing! The main reason was not being 100% sure he could guarantee the sponsors a full season of racing. Travis is very excited about the 2010 season, he is currently throwing around some fundraising opportunities for next year. As of right now Travis is currently undecided on what class he will be competing in, it will either be a Sport-mod or A-mod. There are a few deciding factors that currently are taking place that should allow him to have a decision in the next few weeks. Travis is looking to make up for this summer by planning on attending some of the early specials that take place around the Midwest in 2010, like the Spring Nationals held in Beatrice, NE and the Frostbuster held in Marshalltown, IA.
