2008 plans
As the
2007 season came to an end Travis was forced with two options; Move up
and run A-mod or look to move into the Sport mod division as the
Independence Motorspeedway decided to move away from unsanctioned B
modifieds and go with the IMCA Sport mod rules. After a back and forth
decision Travis has come to the conclusion that he will be in a Sport
mod for the 2008 season. Plans for the 2008 season include the
following, but not limited to:
- Race
weekly at both Benton County and Independence Motorspeedway
- Run for
Rookie of the year as he has never held an IMCA license
-Compete
for national points
- Run in
the 2008 Harris Clash in Knoxville, Iowa
-Make his
first appearance at Super Nationals in September at Boone
As the 1st
of the year is approaching Travis is seeking new sponsorship for the
2008 Season. If you are looking to reach an audience of active,
affluent, and brand loyal consumers very cost-affectively, we offer
exactly that possibility, via professional motorsports. Motorsports
fans will go out of their way to buy a sponsors product. Statistics
show that 75% or more will insist on a sponsors brand. Sponsorship is
different to different people; For the "Sportsman" it's the opportunity
to participate fully in Motorsports without having to be the driver.
For business, it's the possibility for an increase in profits in the
future. For the racers it's the possibility to race successfully,
rising to the next level and financial success in the future.
